Brokerage: Flexible funding to purchase goods and/or services for eligible clients, which will assist you to meet your targeted goals. Brokerage can also be used for one-off emergency assistance if that is not available from another agency.

Case plan: A case plan identifies your goals and objectives and the tasks required to help you to reach your goals. The case plan belongs to you and your worker at Bonnie’s will assist you to achieve these goals.

Centrepay: If you are receiving a Centrelink payment you will be eligible to use Centrepay which is a free direct bill paying service available to customers. Bonnie’s tenants pay their rent directly to us, using this service.

Crisis housing (Refuge or emergency housing): Safe, short term, confidential and supported accommodation for women and their children for up to 3 months. This is for women when they are initially seeking assistance due to homelessness or escaping domestic violence and family violence. During this time you will have high level support from Bonnie’s workers.

DV Line: The Domestic Violence Line provides telephone counselling, information and referrals for women and same-sex partners who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence.

Early Intervention: This enables us to focus on risks early and use targeted strategies to address the problem. This might be to assist you to keep your tenancy or identify a risk of violence and find ways to keep you and your children safe.

Link2home: A single state-wide information and referral service to assist homeless people and those at risk of homelessness. From 9am to 10pm daily Link2home provide information, assessment and referrals to homelessness services across NSW.

Outreach: You don’t have to be a resident of the service to use our services. Bonnie’s provides support and assistance to women and children living in their own housing and/or who are at risk of losing their housing or tenancy and to support women to remain in their home if that is required. We will also refer you to other services if needed.

Recovery Order: Can be obtained through the local court to enable a woman to obtain property she may have left behind when she has left a situation of domestic violence.

Transitional Housing: Short term housing from 3 to 12 months, while moving from crisis to more secure accommodation. Support from Bonnie’s workers will be provided during this time.
